I have a Navionics+ card that came with my HDS 7. It hasn't been activated yet. It will work with HDS units for sure and at most other Lowrance units. I doubt it will work with Birds. It would probably be trial and error on which Lowrance models it can work in. I was thinking $100 for it.

Not gonna use it for live mapping?

I have one already. I paid to get the one I bought off @glennie_rapala upgraded. It has been activated already and works on anything. The one I bought from Glen went with my Elite 9 as it was a bundled one.

How long will your other activated card last though? In order to live map once your currently activated one is done, you will need another activated chip right?

How much was it to reactivate?

Do the new + cards have the dock to dock auto routing ability like the app?

.....interested in it if they do Tony.

It's good for a year, so basically one summer. That's why I activated that one already. It cost me $100 plus tax. Well worth IMO. The same card is $199 to buy new.

I believe they do. I don't think that's is on the cards but an upgrade in their programming. Maybe @Tim Percy can answer that.

Navionics Dock-to-dock Autorouting is not available on US chartplotters.

His chartplotter is from a Cdn store I believe. The chip he is buying off of me came bundled with an American Chartplotter. Would duck to dock still work?

Although they say US it should say North America. Companies don't make a Canadian and US version of their chartplotters.

"Dock-to-dock Autorouting is possible on Raymarine (see video) and on Lowrance, Simrad and B&G models. Available worldwide (not in USA on all plotters)."

My unit is capable with my existing chip I figured out. Still going to grab this one off of Tony just so I have a current updated version.

In the video description for this one it says feature is disabled on all non-Americas units when used in US territorial waters.
