Thanks @craigm. I actually got to sign in to GoFree. Downloaded maps but I don’t know how to view them. Updated my Navionics card also.

Fantastic news. I haven't spent a ton of time on that section of river, but I love it. A buddy has a cabin there so I hope to spend a lot more time fishing that area in the future.

You've already got a lot of Bass, Walleye, and Crappie guys happy...only seems natural to get the Musky guys excited, too!

@Jneuf we’ve had the most fertile region of musky water on the wpg river (Pinawa) mapped for a few years already....

HA! It's just unfortunate that only one guy can catch them though!

Are you guys on mary-ja-wanna? There's absolutely no fish in that system. I wouldn't waste 2 hours there all summer. Just burning fuel on that body of water! :)

    The good stuff Tony! Lmao
Realistically I should just park my ass on my dock and catch fish all day with my grandpa since he always gets, and have a cold bevy while doing so lol.
but there’s just too much to explore and now with the new map, it’ll be that much better

I spoke to my Lowrance contact yesterday, and basically what I suspected is indeed the situation. Lowrance has no capability to update the Insight Planner software and as Microsoft releases updates to the various operating systems, it makes the software work increasingly poorly....doesn't sound like it will run at all on Windows 10. Lowrance will be phasing it out.

I let them know about several guys running AEM wanting a way to display the maps on their computers, and long story short they are going to provide us (AEM) a bunch of copies of the Insight Planner software to distribute as we see fit. I will follow up once we have the copies in hand. I want to stress again though.....our maps will look better on Lowrance units then they will on Insight Planner.

That makes sense. My laptop has 10 so that explains that.
My pc doesn’t have a sd reader so I couldn’t try on there if I wanted to

It works on my w10 system at home... for now. We'll see how long it lasts. That's unreal that it will get BETTER on the unit... only have seen it on PC so far.

    Thanks for the update @craigm
