    If we arent interested, for whatever reason, maybe we should just let the guy sell his stuff and let potential buyers bicker and dicker about the asking price :rolleyes:

    Congrats on the sale!

    Just to clarify I wasn't at all implying this price was out of line. The quick sale proves it wasn't. My point, the used boat market trend has reversed over the last few years since the currency correction. I'm hearing more and more people selling boats they've owned for 5 or more years and turning a profit! It is definitely a strong selling market right now. However, new prices are higher than they've ever been and with the exchange it's not nearly as lucrative to import used units from the US. This makes it hard to make an upgrade without breaking the bank regardless of how much you can get for the boat you've grown out of.

    A real catch 22. But if you're the lucky owner of more than one boat and the secondary unit(s) don't get a lot of use, it would be a smart time to cash in your chips and wait for the next good buying market to come around.
