    Ingredients

    2 pounds walleye fillets
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    1 tablespoon butter, melted
    salt and pepper, to taste

    Sauce
    1 tablespoon butter
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and julienne
    1/2 sweet yellow onion diced
    2/3 cup sour cream
    2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
salt and white pepper to taste
    snipped fresh chives
    lime wedges

    Directions

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Butter baking dish.

Place fillets in dish. Mix lime juice and butter. Brush over walleye. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let stand 15 minutes. Bake until fish is almost opaque, about 9 minutes per inch of thickness.

Meanwhile prepare sauce: Melt butter in heavy small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add jalapeños and onions and cook until tender, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Add sour cream and stir until heated through; do not boil. Mix in lime juice. Add salt and pepper.

Transfer fish to platter. Spoon sauce over. Sprinkle generously with chives. Garnish with lime wedges.

Looks like a recipe I will be trying for sure. Just want to point out that this recipe looks very low in carbs for those of us that follow those diets. Thanks Pal :)

No sweat. Was looking to try something different and classier than the typical battered and fried. Plus if I can class up a walleye dish it gets me more ice time from my beautiful wife ;)

Don't use low fat sour cream. Only high test will do
