BE 3000watt digital inverter generator for 3-5hours running time max so like new. I bought it at one of the rural COOP hardware stores but also carried by Peavey mart. We got it to use on our camper as we have no power at our seasonal camping site but as luck would have it I inherited a 1000watt Yamaha from a family estate just after I bought the 3000watt. Between the solar panels and the 1000watt the extra 3000watt generator is no longer needed. Regular price on the unit is $899. It's nice and quiet and has enough juice to run a skill saw or camper air conditioning unit. Nice fold away handle and wheels for easy transport.

$700 with the original box and manuals. Great Inverter generator at less than 1/3 the cost of a Honda or Yamaha. I'll be putting it on Kijiji in the next few days but will give CFF member first option.

It's depends what you need it for Gord. It's pretty much the minimum size you need to run an air conditioning unit on a camper. We don't really need to use the air conditioning. If you're running any high amp draw stuff you can't go much smaller. I found it really easy to move actually with the handle and wheels. No problem picking it up and putting it in my SUV either. You're welcome to look if you're in the market just for comparison.

I’ll have to measure my generator compartment to see if it would fit in there. More than enough watts the one I was looking for was a 2000w.
I’ll also look it up in the manual for the camper. I think there is a hook up for it in the compartment.
    Thanks @Thane.

It depends on the size of the air conditioner and how many BTU it is. Some smaller campers you can run the AC but for anything a bit larger you need to have a certain amount of watts to start up the compressor. Overloading the generator for any amount of time can also be bad. I've read about some people using a 2300-2500 to run air conditioner too. I had a friend try a 2000watt on his camper and not a chance starting it up. Showed as an overload.

Of course. I don't think you can do damage overloading modern generators as they have built in breakers. Have had mine trip quite a few times when overloaded (usually on startup). The generator will keep running but has zero output until you reset the breaker.

No worries Gord. I hoped to avoid Kijiji but I need to sell it and Kijiji does sell stuff.
