    Fisher people!
    If you're interested in getting into some of the best Burbot fishing in the province, the month of March at Cedar lake is by far the best time - last two years we have seen many dozens of MA sized fish, and more than a few got their MA anglers 'specialist' badge in one or two days - so if this interests you, PM me as we still have a few cabins left for weekend and weekday rentals. Shack rental available for day or night fishing.

    Guys - had a cancellation on the 24th weekend (going to be a few CFF members up there at that time), as well as one cabin open April 1 weekend - both prime burbot times!

    Looking at the forecast, and the pictures Chris posted all I know is if you have a snowmobile sitting in the garage your brain should be spinning right now.

    Off the top of my head, species to target are:

    Pike
    Walleye
    Tullibee
    Burbot



    Rainbows
    Brook
    Tiger trout


    Imagine going to Balsam, pulling up at 9am on a Saturday and not seeing another soul. That's Cedar, hundreds of square miles of lake with only a handful of anglers.

    Tired of the big lake? Skip over to footprint for some trout action. Maybe your hungry? Jump over to Grand Rapids and fish the river for some walleye....
