Discovered one of the best ways to make wings, have done them a few times and people are freaking over them.

Costco sells the big packs a fresh wings, pretty cheap, thats what I have been using, but a wing is a wing.

    - take one of those plastic type fish shakers for dry rubs
    - add a box of Regular Shore Lunch Recipe
    - add half a pack of wings, shake it up to coat wings
    - deep fry to a golden brown, they will float to top of oil when almost done, cook a couple of minutes longer
    - place in a big S/S bowl, add salt and pepper
    - then i have picked up a few different sauces, honey garlic, Hot sauce, terryaki or your favorite
    - add some sauce to wings and shake then around
    - crack a cold beer and start eating

Thats exactly how its done in restaurants, except they use flour/seasoned flour (maybe some cornstarch) rather than shore lunch.
    Very very good!

Hey Chris, i know that, trust me i have eaten a few million of them over the years, especially when they used to be 5 cents a wing, but with the shore lunch it does something special to them they are friggin great, I made a ton of them before christmas at a party, they guys were freaking out over them, and with the price of them in bars now it nice to make them at home and save some cash for fishing trips to Moak Lodge.

I remember those 5 cent wing days - $$2.00 and a couple guys would be stuffed! Now the place i frequent is 50 cents a wing, and just so-so... want to try yours!

Not a big fan of fried wings personally but I'll give them a shot. I'm a bbq, hot sauce and butteror lemon pepper kinda guy.

    Thanks for sharing

I think I'll take credit for being the first person to mention fish crisp on wings in the other wings thread or just the whole internet in general ;)

Once u batter wings, place in fridge for an hour before deep frying....... this is a key step! The crunch is worth it!

Made these for the superbowl, only I used Fish Crisp instead (likely the same stuff). I have to say that they were perhaps the best wings Id ever had. Tried them 4 different ways, and all were delicious.

same here but used Shore Lunch. One batch of Franks Buffalo hot sauce, a batch of BBQ and a batch of teriyaki BBQ mix. I made about 5 pounds I think. VERY GOOD.
