Occasionally when viewing CFF from my iPhone on Safari, it seems to not load the entire page. One of the items that fails to load is the reply box, so you can't actually reply to a thread. However, if I open up the page in Chrome on my iPhone, seems to work fine.

    Anyone else have this issue?

I haven't had this issue with my iPhone 5 with Safari. Try clearing out your history and reloading.

Sorry I missed this post Jneuf...

Yes, what Glennie said. Clear your cookies and you should be good. It's basically a memory shortage problem on your phone. Clearing cookies removes old cookies that are no longer being used, thereby freeing up that memory for data display.

Happens to me aswell.. Erasing history works well but don't forget your passwords to anything. You'll have to re log in to any site.
Ernie recommended to me to clear more space on the drive. My phone was basically 100% full. Deleted some videos and pictures and seems to help a bit. Also if other apps are open it happens I think.

Here are a few things to try (i know my iPhones!) which none will hurt any data but you may have to log into sites again... I assume your phone is not tweaked/jailbroken. If it is jailbroken, you're SOL.

    First, check for space:
Settings-general-storage and iCloud - manage storage... In here you will find what is using the most memory, and you can choose whether or not you want to purge some stuff. If you have any games, they are especially evil - get rid of them. Also, get rid of any games. Did I mention to get rid of all the games? Get the message? Don't add games! 4/5 iPhones and iPads that are f'd up are because of aftermarket third party games.

Close all programs (press home button twice and flick all open programs to close).

Go to settings-cellular and verify cellular data is on, as well as scroll down and make sure Safari is "on" in cellular data

Go to Settings-general-reset (right at bottom) and reset all settings - this is like a soft reset.

Do a hard reset - hold home and power buttons until phone shuts off, then restart. Ignore the slide button, phone will cycle off just by holding buttons.

That should help - if not, write back and i will get more in depth - these tweaks above (DO THEM ALL) will get your ph back in the best shape it can be.

I just tried clearing cookies and web data. I have over 2 gigs free, and no games on the phone. It's a weird issue because it's completely intermittent, but yet always works in Chrome...just a safari thing.

    Hope this helped, thanks guys!

Cookies and web data clearing may help, but do the steps I listed above - it will get everything re-aligned so to speak - its a total tune up. A lot of apps share data/usage, and i suspect you have a small conflict. Don't worry - those steps won't hurt anything other than you will have to log in again to websites.

I assume you have all the updates done? If not, do them ALL.... - Settings - general - software update

Went through your entire checklist above, and same problem.

Here is what it looks like:

    iPhone Safari

    iPhone Chrome

    Jneuf,

    Can you do this please...

Go to Settings, General, About, scroll down and click Diagnostics and Usage, scroll down and click Diagnostics and Usage Date.
In the list that'll pop up, select, copy n paste the entire text of the item that refers to CFF to me in a PM.
I will able to determine what is causing the error with that code.
If there is no item that identifies CFF in that list, than the error is not CFF related.
I believe this error is probable happening to you only in certain areas?? For example if you're logged in at work versus at home??

I have the same problem. The "stay logged in" never works and sometimes you can hit recent posts or new posts and sometimes you don't even have the option.

I have the stay logged in set at one hour. After an hour of inactivity on your end it will automatically log you out.

    I do it for security.

Thanks Ernie! I checked, and there is nothing CFF related in the list. I suspect it's a Safari issue, as the site works fine in Chrome.

I haven't tracked whether or not the issue happens in different areas, but I'll certainly take note of that!

Do you still get issue with a wifi signal? It looks like you are on the fringe of getting an internet signal via cellular - i get the same thing with 1 bar /less than -100 MTS signal. If i have wifi or signal -75 to -100, it works fine

    1. Here's how to change the signal strength indicator with a number rather than a signal bar:
      1. Launch the Phone app.
      2. Dial *3001#12345#*
      3. Then tap on the Call button, which will launch the Field Test app (or enter the field test mode). ...
      4. Now hold the Power button until the red slider (slide to power off button) appears.
      More items...

Is that just for mobile as I never have to log in on my MacBook Pro.

    Ok
    Try this:
    1. Settings-general-icloud ...turn off icloud
    2. Settings-safari-advanved-...turn off javascript
Then hold sleep and power button and reboot

See if that solves the issue.
Make sure you have a good wifi or cell signal

If it helps, then turn javascript back on and see what happens.
