Recently purchased a snowmobile and am now debating whether to just buy a sled to transport gear in or bite the bullet and buy a flipover tow behind shelter. Just wondering if someone might have something they might be contemplating parting ways with.
In a perfect world, and Otter Lodge would be ideal but would consider a Clam or Frabill as well. Basically anything in a 2-3 man model. Would prefer insulated but not a deal breaker.
If anyone has one or knows of someone looking to sell let me know.

    Thanks!

yep messaged him this morning. Sounds like he's going to wait for trade offers first. I don't really want to part with my tent, still handy to have. I have a couple of leads, hopefully something pans out.

I think that's a really fair price on a next to new flip-over. Anyone have any experience with the Frabill's? In terms of quality, pretty good? I also have a lead on an Otter Cabin, I think it's the Wild edition so probably a little older than the Frabill. Sounds like the guy wants around the $650 mark for it but depends on a deal he's got in the hopper on the weekend. I'd prefer an Otter, just sounds like the overall quality of them is pretty darn good, but truth be told I have no experience with any flip-over units.

I'm keeping it. I knew I'd regret it if I got rid of it.

Ended up buying a Clam 12 pack for cold weather camping and to use as a huge basecamp for long trips. It's actually silly how big these things are. 224 sq/ft!

well........ideally would for sure like to stay under $1000. I'd say top end is around $800. It's not that I'm not willing to drop more, it's more about how do I justify this to the better half.........something in mind Cam?

Nick and I set it up last night and just laughed. It's stupid just how big it really is. But we do lots of trips with a fair size group and we like to camp out to make the drive worthwhile a lot of times. We're going to rig it up with a wood stove. We should be able to easily fit 7 cots in there without a stove and for sure 5 with the stove.

A bunch of us are heading down to ND this weekend to meet up with some american friends and fish some bluegills. We'll be sleeping on the ice in it.

I have a frabill trekker dlx that I will be posting for sale tonight or tomorrow. It insulated, dual boat seats, custom, extra thick umhw runners and skidplate, overhead storage net, frabill rod holders and frabill travel cover and hitch. Should be up on the for sale section real soon with photos. I'm only selling it because I wanted to build a giant flipver for overnight trips. I was thinking of posting it on Kijiji for 600, but here would be 550
