    I wired a piece of wire directly to the connected where the battery terminals connect on the inside. I fed the wire out through the battery cover and crimped on those clips that I connect to a 6 volt rechargeable battery. It runs the fan all day.

    Ya that would work too....in my case I wanted to run everything off of the same 12v source.
