After an open water season packed full of surveying, <a href="https://canadianfishingforum.com/forum/members/300/" class="username" data-user="300, @craigm">@craigm</a> and I are looking forward to the 2017 model year. We&#039;ve got some great new content coming that will be available on the 2017 Digital Map chips exclusively for your Lowrance sonar. These will become available in the spring, exact launch date TBD. For now as we finish up with each lake on the computer we&#039;ll use this thread to post previews of them. We had a few cancellations in June and early July, all prime time openings for the walleye (and pike) bite on Cedar.<br />
June 04 to 10th, June 02 to 05, and July 07-13. We rarely get openings during this time, there is a good reason for that - great fishing!<br />

Just a heads up that Footprint lake will be ready to go by next weekend walking (and most likely ATV as cold weather is on its way) - if anyone is interested in making the trek we do have two cabins available for Fri/Sat nights as well as thru the week, one small, one large cabin.<br />
Dec 17th thru new years we also have cabins open for ice fishing on Cedar - in past years thats a great time for walleye, pike, and tulibee. Lake travel by sled or ATV.<br />

Most of you guys here know me, I&#039;m James Patterson from Lip Ripper Tackle... Lip Ripper makes a few different jigs all with super durable powder paint and I strive to use high quality hooks! My lower end stuff runs Eagle Claw red sickle hooks, while the higher end stuff runs super strong Mustad 2X hooks! And I&#039;m always willing to look into other hooks styles and brands!<br />
