Decided to down size to a Canyon with the baby Duramax, so up for sale my baby goes.

2015 Sierra 1500 SLT, 6'6" Standard box (with spray on bed liner and carpet Bedrug), 60,000 kms, has every option available from the stainless sill plates to the 8" Touchscreen Bose sound system with navigation, just too many options to list, still have original build sheet and window sticker so I can review with any interested buyer. The truck has a leveling kit in the front and sits perfectly level, has Firestone Ride Rite air bags in the back, the truck sits on 20" aluminum rims with up-sized Goodyear Duratracs. Comes with a Leer fiberglass tonneau cover. The truck also has a few performance upgrades; K&N Cold Air Intake, true dual exhaust (two separate mufflers, not one muffler with dual outs), Hypertech Power Program (handheld programmer comes with truck, tune can be easily increased or decreased or eliminated altogether, has a function to correct speedometer for the over sized tires so it's accurate) a Sprint Booster Power module to increase throttle/pedal response, and upgraded fog/driving lights.

The truck is MINT and is in PERFECT mechanical condition, not safetied yet (not sure if I am going to use it as a trade or not depending if I have any luck selling privately) but will safety for buyer, pretty sure it won't need anything. PM if interested and to discuss pricing information.

Should have included in the write up.........it has the 5.3 L and has the Z71 off road package with the Rancho shocks and also the trailer tow package with the integrated brake controller, should have mentioned that since I know most of us pull shit with our trucks!!!!!!!! Mine has never pulled anything heavier than my boat. And some more pics; dual mufflers, K&N cold air intake and a picture of the bed............no that's not fishing stuff back there????

Shit, that’s a beautiful truck. Good luck with the sale, BGF. Whoever buys that off you is in good hands...

I also look forward to hearing your review on the baby Duramax!

Thanks John..........was negotiating a deal today, the dealer and I could get no closer than $3000 apart. Trouble is there is nothing locally, had to reach out as far as BC, then shipping kills you.

@BIGGAMEFISHER Selkirk had a baby duramax a few weeks ago...

The reviews I read when we purchased the Colorado weren’t that good on the 5 cylinder diesel, but to be honest I didn’t really look that hard at those reviews... the diesel wouldn’t have been practical for us regardless of reviews...

I tried a 2017 canyon duramax for about 6 months comming from a full size like u .it really towed my lund pro v 1975 with a 225 verado no problem .great on hills at lake of the praries .do not buy short box way too small .reason i sold it a buddy took me for a ride in his full size ram 1500 diesel .mpg were almost identicle .if u can get over the gmc thing and take a dodge for a ride try one .i did buy a ram but sold it after a winter of hell with no suspension as air ride froze over and over again .other than that is was a nice truck .ram1500diesel is a great site too

Thanks Patty, the Selkirk truck was a short box, I need a long box for sure.......the Durmax is a 2.8l inline 4 cylinder, reviews out there seem to be mostly positive and when I talk to actual owners they are pretty pleased with the truck.

Thanks Chris.....yes long box it has to be ( I plan to put a Leer topper on it), that's what's making it tough to find, 95% out there are short, then I throw in the options I am looking for and the list is VERY short, dealer checked 2000 km either side of us, 6 units came up, 2 of them were with in the exterior color choices I gave and none of them were close enough to have a driver take a vehicle out and drive mine back, closest was 2000 km's away, they will drive them if it's closer than 500 km, at 2000 they have them shipped, I'd have to pay the two way trip, $2300.

You don’t want a new vehicle on a flat deck. No protection. Auto carrier.

Thanks for the reminder Cam, it was auto carrier, I already knew the hazards of a flat deck.........that was the other concern, I would have had to wait for a load coming this way, may have taken weeks I am told.

Thanks Chris, I'll keep in mind for sure. The bigger issue for me is, the dealer in BC that is giving up the vehicle to my dealer here wants one in exchange, that one has to be shipped (they don't want 2000 km on it, very understandable), I have offered to fly to BC to pick it up(which is not a problem) but would still have to pay the shipping from here for the exchange vehicle and as far as pick up..... by the time I add in flight (cheapest was $650ish), a couple of hotel rooms and food and gas, I'm almost up at the shipping cost anyway

Was told mid November, so seems like 10 to 12 weeks. No incentives on those though unlike the 2019's right now.
