    For sale: $50 ($114 +tax new)

    Troll Control.jpeg

My troll control stopped working and I assumed it was the control assay, so I bought a 2nd. Installed it, and it still wasn't working....couldn't figure out what the heck was going on until this fall, when by chance I reinstalled the Vessel View Mobile device I had lent to @robm to monitor RPMs while testing props earlier this summer. Then it worked again.

Turns out there was nothing wrong with my original troll control assay - for some reason the engine didn't let it work while the Vessel View Mobile was removed (even though it obviously worked before I purchased and installed the Vessel View Mobile the first time.)

Anyway....for sale. If you have a Big Tiller Merc and don't have this....you want this. Allows you to idle down and dial in precise trolling speed.

Is this just a plug n play Craig? I have the troll control on my smart craft gauge but would be handy to have it on the big tiller handle also.

Put one on mine this spring and it was plug and play. 2018 75 hp had a knock out panel where it goes and everything prewired just plug pins into harness.

No I don't but I tell you I use my control on the handle allot. Really nice to slow that engine right down.

Oh I know I use my troll control all the time but I always have to reach down to my gauge to adjust. Be nice to have it at the fingertips

If that's all I need on my motor to get troll/RPM control, I'll take it @craigm

It’s utterly ridiculous that the handle doesn’t come with this installed. For the price $1300+ it should come standard along with the stupid auxiliary light that installs on the bottom of the handle.

My 2016 Merc came with it installed. Older motors did not.

I bought the handle $$$$ and installed it on my own motor a few years ago. It does not have the button. It was optional.
