Do it yourself man..it needs to drain for a while to get most of the old oil out. No one gives it enough time, plus they use the shittiest filters possible.

You won’t ever regret doing it yourself. No shame in having someone show you how to do it either. Buy a good quality filter like Wix or Bosch and grab some full synthetic when it comes on sale at Cdn Tire. Don’t forget a new crush washer/drain gasket too.

Like Cam said, it’s a good idea to let it drain for a while, that gets the dirtiest oil out. Doing it yourself means you do a better job with better quality products for far cheaper.

I almost threw up in my mouth when glen suggest a WIX filter...... Lol...

The magic of a 10 minute oils change is, your oils is hot when they pull the plug and it drains quite quickly and quite clean...

From a mechanics standpoint, OEM filters are the safest bet for newer under warranty vehicles....

Wix filters are very good quality, they make Napa’s line of filters too. Fram is mostly shit though.

Do it yourself, I'm completely useless with vehicles but I've always done my own oil changes. If I can manage , anyone can. Save a few bucks, but for me the biggest thing is knowing what oil and filter is being used and ensuring the correct amount of oil is used, torqued correctly, etc.

My dealer charged me $69.99 for full synthetic, seems about the same as Superlube from memory
