Estimate on what a 2004 honda 50hp is worth?

    As title says, I have a 2004 Honda 50hp electric start power trim that I’m selling. New seals in lower end and new water pump, I don’t know exact hrs but they would be pretty low. I know it’s hard without pictures and actual hrs. But what do y’all estimate the value?

    40-60hp 4-stroke outboards are almost like unicorns. They just don't pop up too often. So there isn't much out there for comparables.

    From the few I've seen this spring, I would put it in the $3500-4500 range.

    I agree with Stevie - 3500-4500 for a carb unit
    And $4500-5000 ish if efi and in good condition, but i think efi was later models
    I sold a 2010 50 efi pre covid for $5000, in 7/10 shape.

    With covid pricing and dealer availability it will probably fetch as much as a new unit! o_O
