Hi, I want to try a CC. After my wife caught one on LW yesterday, it reminded me that I need some advice for cooking it. Do you have a recipe that you would share?

I have cooked (pan fried) Catfish in Texas, but I think these ones are not channels and raised in ponds.

    thanks

    Dave

Soak the fillets in salty water for a few hours, bread and fry like walleye, or smoke em!!!

    This...

I haven't kept a catfish for over 10 years but that's how I used to do em. The family actually preferred them over walleye.

Skin them, cut into steaks and then fry using corn meal.
