    Is there a reason you prefer that side of the motor? I think everyone else I've seen is on the the other side.

    Buy as big a board if you can find if you plan to add more transducers in the future, doesn’t take long for things to get crowded.

    reason, it works and seems to be less interference than the other side….

    It’s common for tiller guys to mount on the port side, Spoon. That way you can sit in the captains chair and jig with your lure in the cone angle.

    By the book instructions will often recommend you mount on the starboard side…I’ve never noticed a difference in terms of interference with the prop on either side.

    Spoon - So long as your ducer is 3” from the outswing of the prop, you’re not too close. As mentioned, the ducer board should follow the contour of the hull bottom.
