I know this is a fishing forum but this is too good not to share.
Ok, so this whole pokemon hunting stuff, I have some questions.
1.What is a pokemon?( I've never seen one)
2.When does season start and end for them?
3.Do you have to have a big game license or are they considered small game?( should I take a 270, or 22, or maybe a shot gun, also is there an archery season for them?)
4.Where should I hunt them?( Hardwoods, pine thicket, or clear cut?)
5.Should I use a stand or stalk and spot?)
6.Are they good eatin?(How do i cook them)
    7. Are the dangerous?( do they carry rabies?)
8.How big are they? ( Will i need help dragging one out?)
9.Can you hunt them over bait?( If so what do they eat?)
    10. Can you spotlight them?
If anyone has these answers please let me know. Thank you.

Pretty sure they are an invasive species, and you will need a through decontamination just by coming into contact with someone that is or has pursued them.
Decontamination is simple however, 3 easy steps....Step 1 get out of your city or town. Step 2 Shut off your cell phone, Step 3 spend at least 5 hours fishing.

I was at The Forks yesterday evening and at first I'm thinking wtf, groups of people everywhere and everyone is walking around staring at their phones. Then it clicked in, they're playing that fuckin game. It was crazy how many people were playing it, I would say most of the time at least 75% of the people around me were playing the game. I don't have anything against the game, last night I saw a lot of people that looked like getting out for a couple walks might not be the worst thing for them, but it just seems games like this one take peoples lives hostage. A lot of people get so addicted that it starts to affect the day to day shit. playing 14 hours of World of Warcraft 7 days a week is way beyond a hobby, and it looks like this game is the next big life stealer.

Pretty harsh. They're not hurting anyone, one of the most interesting things in a free country is what crazy shit will people do next.

Yup not hurting anyone. Just helping imo.
Seeing people walk by our shop at lunch hour on their phones playing in an industrial park.
Where were they before the game came out ? Probably caged up inside the lunchroom staring at their phone anyways !

Finally kids are getting out of the house and walking around together having fun! But its weird they are all staring at their phones. I remember buying my oldest son pokemon cards about 20 years ago when he was young. Never heard of them again unil recently. I'd rather go fishing. Lol.

I don`t see any harm in hunting pokemons I hunt them for the sheer fact I am required by my Doctor to get out and move. I hate walking for the sake of walking, give me a 22 or 20 gauge and a chicken licence and I am golden. I`ll walk kilometers deer hunting, so this is a form of hunting to keep me moving. Days off are another thing I go fishing or shooting but after a work day pokemon go works for me. I calculate that I have walked an average of 4 to 5 km a day since starting last wed. Doctor is going to be happy.:muscle:

I was at a buddies place a few times in the last week, he lives in an area where there is a place that people catch Pokemons. The place is now a constant stream of traffic and people walking all over. When I pulled up to his place last night there was a lady standing in the middle of a flower bed in front of his condo building

Never seen so many 10-15 year olds and a handful of 16-25's in the park behind my house. I guess there's a couple pokee? stops. A refreshing change from usually only seeing bums and pot smoking teens. I rather like it
