    Comes with the ones pictured. Also has slots for 2 more in the middle of the case (top & bottom). Small void under the case in the middle. I can fit a small trout jig case in there.

    I modified mine to fit 5 cases on the left side by removing the foam dividers that are normally between the 3 that come from the factory, fits perfect. So combined (with those 5) I have two more in the center, two in the void under the larger one in center cutout.................so 10 case all together.

    Two sizes of inserts as well... 32" and 40". Specify which one you want when ordering.

    I find I don't even use the big case under the rods because it is just too much of a pain to pull all the rods out to access it.

    Any reason why I should consider a 40 insert? Looks like the 32 is all I need assuming that's what is shown in all the pictures.

    If you never plan or using rods longer than 32", then no.

    Easy to modify the 32" to fit 1 long rod too.

    That is correct, if notch out a bit of foam a longer rod will fit in the top location (if you look at my picture, you'll see)....I measured it up a few years ago but then decided to put my longer rods in a separate case.
