    I fished this section for the first time this summer @Tony . It was decent.....limits of walleye in the Pro Guide's livewell and seven species caught that day :). Preliminary map may have been a factor....but LDB is a wicked fishery ;)

    I can't wait Craig! The wife and I have fished that water quite a bit over the last 2 years but for the most part we never ventured too far east as we did well at our usual spots. We rented a cabin for a week out there last summer and may do the same this summer. We are actually thinking of buying a lakefront cattage out there for our retirement. Very excited about all these new oppurtunites @craigm!

    Thanks for the suggestions guys....it's kinda weird how such a well-defined bay, separated from the rest of the lake by a pronounced narrows does not have a well-known name, but all the topo map references I have do not provide one. I think we''ll just have to go with "Lac du Bonnet: East" as the title for the print map.

    Scattered humps, shoreline protrusions, islands, shallow backwaters, flooded creek channels (backwatering from the McArthur GS). So much variety and sheer size.
