I should'v clarified, I was only there friday and just for Pure Fishing (Berkley Fenwick etc). No Lowrance there, no. Bryan sold a few birds, I was just there to help people find what they were looking for and answer any kind of questions or just talk fishing with anyone that wanted to. Very busy there on thurs i heard

I have to say I was really disappointed with the attendance at the seminars. Huge talent, Amanda and Alex Kez and Jeremy Smith from Angler's Edge fame were there and I don't know if there were 20 people combined at those 2 seminars....pretty sad. And the people that were there couldnt even bother to clap their hands together to welcome them to the stage....that bugged me I have to admit. I blame the boatshow mostly for the lack of attendance....but some people need to get some fricken manners. I was embarrassed for manitoba at that point. I had to go up and meet Jeremy after his seminar while he was getting a beer. Talked for near a half hour...Lk Wpg White Bass (he loves em...me not so much but he was interested to hear how many big ones there are) ..Walleye, Smallies, and whatever else. Super cool down to earth, multi-species guy.

Personally I think there’s too much going on at the boat show to get people to sit down and listen. Those seminars were right beside the Lotw store and by right by the exit. I think seminars like that are better off at stores.

Having the seminars where they had them didn't help matters as far as I'm concerned. Everyone is eager to get upstairs and then on the way out weren't thinking seminars. My son and I went last night. Went down after being upstairs to go have a look because we got rushed through because people were waiting for us upstairs. We went back down and browsed at LOTW and the rest of the displays. Saw Alex Kezler there and also saw Aaron Wiebe. Looked over at Aaron and he was off to the side toalking to a couple people. He looked over and we both nodded at each other. Wish I had enough nerve to walk up to either him or Kez and have a convo. I would more than likely just make myself sound stupid. lol

Went last year for the sole purpose of seeing the seminars. Alex and Amanda Kez did a seminar on trolling and Jeremy Smith did one on Musky. For the price of admission taking those in was a great deal. Was able to talk to Kez after and ask some specific questions, and Jeremy Smith did a big Q & A too.

Shocked to hear how few people were there, @Mike B. Poor promotion of them, maybe? If our city can get standing room only at Cabelas seminars you’d think we could get people out to these..?

Took in Alex and Amanda show last night. Definitely not many taking it in. The shows were running 15 minutes later than advertised and they had to cut it short it seemed from what they wanted to talk about, not sure if that affected attendance. I really enjoyed it, picked up a few tips that I'm going to try. Alex mentioned he will be on an upcoming Anglers edge show shot in SK.

I bet the brutal advertising for the boat show itself, never mind promoting specific seminars has something to do with poor attendance.

I didn’t even realize the boat show was this weekend until last weekend, by then I’m all booked and busy.

Not even close Tony! Easy to talk to, all 4 of the people mentioned. I was with Aaron last night by the fire at a buddy's place til 3am, Aaron and I like to bug each other...him about me being old, and me about how him never seeing female genitalia  ...seriously tho, Aaron is a very kind hearted approachable guy that doesnt judge any "rank" of angler, has a lot of love in his heart and maybe gets misunderstand...cuz he's SO FUCKING LOUD!

And Kez...Kez is easy, just buy him a rye, bring up Plummer's Trout and you won't be able to get away from him (not like you'd want to, I can soak that stuff up forever)

Back to AEM content. With a possible relocation for myself and seeing as you’ve done enough of MB already. When are you guys @robm @craigm going to start dedicating the next 15 years of your lives to LOTW?

Funny you say that... I'm an IT guy and I spent about 10 minutes looking into Insight Planner before I just said screw it I'll view it on the unit. :tearsofjoy::thumbsup1:

I'll try your link here and see if it's any better.

My buddy wants to know when you're doing Dogtooth :p

I actually would love to be a fly on the wall for the conversations on where to map next. I'm a mainly Ontario guy but still getting a full AEM catalog to entertain me outside of musky season. Might even have to to try some river walleye current fishing.... sounds like it's a bit more exciting than the ol' anchor jig I was raised on zzzzzzzzzz
