I'm looking for a smaller screen unit just for use of maps on the snowmobile. No transducer necessary, mounting hardware would be a bonus

I was thinking I'd get a small unit for the sled and eventually get a 9" model for the boat, so it put the HDS 7" models right in a spot where I'm not sure they'd be the best fit... although if my sled's charging system can keep up with a 7", maybe the bigger screen would be a nice luxury. Damnit man, I thought I had it all figured out

@Inmate runs a HDS7 on sled, I will be running one of my HDS7 on sled (if shit happens and I need to use sled), think @craigm runs a 7TI, @Mike B. runs a HDS 7 I think as well.... don't be the 4" guy at the 7" party lol

I take the 7ti off my boat and mount on my sled. Both ram mount so easy, just had to add a 12v port to the sled. Pre wired already so one hole drilled and plug in good to go.

IMO a 7” is perfect for a sled. I also like a non touch screen as you can make selections with your gloves on. I run an Elite 7 on my sled with AEM and love it...it does collect dust in the summer but no @Harpz it is not for sale LOL.

Consider @NoShow 's HDS 5 as sold! I'll get the AEM 2019 catalog from the website and do my best to prove size isn't everything to @Patty.... But if it is mine'll still be bigger than @Harpz ;) appreciate everyone weighing in, too, I will be bugging folks again when it comes to getting the boat setup

For what it's worth... 4 inches on the ice is worth more then 12 inches sitting in the garage... :p

There is an Elite 7 on Kijiji for $500. Comes with HDI ducer. That's a fair price IMO and would make an awesome ice unit. ;)
