Per unit area, the Red River was one of the easiest bodies of water we have surveyed to date. And in that regard, yeah it was a little boring. There is structure to it (more than I was expecting), but with the exception of the area around Lockport and right at the mouth, there is really nothing to worry about in terms of damage to boats and motors. I don't think we even had to retire a prop while surveying the Red....

I knew that map was detailed, but when you see the track overlay it really shows how much work you guys put into it.

This doesn't really address the lack of new content releases, but I thought some people might be interested in the number of maps in our catalog at present and also the coverage offered by each of them.

Yeah even though I clearly knew lake winnipeg was by far your largest body of water, seeing those numbers is humbling...

I'm very surprised that Upper Black Sturgeon is only 5 more than Lower BS?

There's no public ramp on upper as far as I know Gord. You used to be able to pay to use the ramp on upper at the golf course but that ramp is now owned by the camper's assoc.

There's supposedly a pub ramp on lower, but I've never been. Heard it's tough to find and parking is slim pickinz, but like I said, I've never been.
