You guys should have learned to masturbate with both hands when you were young.

God damn wife uses LH baitcaters, now instead of one bunch of combos, I have to buy 2.....

Guess it’s time to learn LH and be an ambidextrous reel user lol

I'm right handed, but prefer to retrieve with my left and use my dominant hand to control the rod... better jerking capabilities and feels more better to me lol.

LH baitcasters are all I own. Save for a couple cat-combos. Lefty's are a must IMHO for bouncing or trolling in a tiller boat! One hand on the rod, the other on the motor handle. No need to quickly switch the rod from one hand to another for a fish.

I’m an ambidextrous sedentary ice angler to allow for quicker hooksets but all of my open water setups are LH retrieve. When I started fishing on shore as a youngster I used a RH but when I started running a boat I found it easier to maintain boat control with the rod in my right and the tiller in my left

I can reel both ways but I buy right handed bait casters because that's what I learned with. Mechanically, would be too much to relearn to switch now. Tried some figure eights left handed and it was very awkward.

Haven't had any issues with casting or rod switching yet but that tune might change if I stick a big pig.

    Right handed.

Reel with right, rod in left hand.

I've lost fish while on the troll or controlling the tiller while switching hands...can't deny that.

The only plus side to it is the tennis elbow I've developed from jerkbaiting is in my weaker arm. As Monty Python says-- "Always look on the bright side of life!" *fweehoo, fwee-hoo hee hoo hee hoo*

Cannot wait to get both hands on my Revo STX's
