Looking for a rubber landing net. Biggest target likely pike. Around 30" prefered, bigger is fine too. Just checking if anyone has one for sale before I head to the store.

(We won't talk about where my net ended up)

    Thanks
    Andy

@Gord, I did, but I decided to keep it for the odd Catfish trip. Big ol Frabill Power Catch...they're like $200+ to replace so I figured I'd keep it

The prices of good quality nets are ridiculous these days imo. When you look at what you really get for the money I shake my head. Or maybe I’m just a tight ass,,,my father taught me well. Haha.

That's why I don't mind asking for a used one lol. Canadian Tire has a few decent ones but they're not as deep as I'd prefer

Quality used is better than brand new crap any day . I have bought several used items off this forum and zero regrets. People who buy quality stuff tend to know how to look after their gear. Good luck with the net hunting.

]After loosing my net last fall Nick S got me on this net. You will never find it cheaper. Comes with a shitty thin net but easily replaced for pretty cheap from Loki nets. Cam just brought it in for me. Steal of a deal and collapsible for nice storage. To compare you would be well over $300 to replace.

I have that same net - it’s great, but yeah, like you mentioned the bag is kinda crappy. Been meaning to replace mine for a couple years now - thanks for the reminder!

My fave nets are Loki. I've got a 15 yr old Loki for Bass and med-smaller species, but it's had 37" lake Trout in it and many heavy Walleye. It's literally as good as new, in spite of netting rangy a-hole Pike just to keep my bait.

When you go onto Loki's site, you'll see they do all kinds of sport netting and utility netting @Jneuf

I did have a fish go through my Loki on Saturday. Easily patched with Braid but still was a disappointing moment after thinking I had complete confidence in my net.... Inspected the whole thing and it looks good but its amazing how quickly a 15 lb fish can get through a small gap of mesh.

@Gord, what are you targeting? Picked up a Frabill Pow'r Lok and liked it for walleyes and bass. Even managed to bag a 43" Musky in it even though I wouldn't advise that. It's like $50 at Walmart, but I think double that at other places I saw.
