    On this episode of little spoons stupid questions. Using my quad to get too and from the stand/ blind this year and gonna have to find a way to bring the bow with me. Open to ideas. Also where does one pick up a helmet without getting gouged. And also #fuckpatty

    Why not leave it in its case and strap it to the rack? That’s what I’ve always done

    for helmet if all you want is to be legal, Topline Auto is where I got my soup bowl helmet.

    I hate to be that guy, that gives that speech...

    Buying a helmet on sale, or whatever, is fine...but don’t cheap out. And buy something that fits you properly.

    Sept. 27, 2017, three years ago to the day, a good helmet very likely saved my life or kept me from becoming a vegetable. The guy behind me on the road saw my head bounce off the pavement.

    Protect your head.

    I had a helmet I loved and fit great but when deer camp got broken into it grew legs

    I know it’s not super close, but Altona Farm Service always gets a bunch of FXR gear in right around now, and has really, really good deals on their helmets.

    Using a quad to get to your stand is a bad idea. Use it to get close, walk into your stand.

    I never understood the “token” helmet idea. Just enough to be legal and not get a ticket. If you have to wear one, you may as well wear one that will protect your brain and face when shit goes bad.
