Hello from SE Ontario

I have been fishing, hunting, camping and enjoying pretty much everything outdoors my whole life. My wife and I have two boys, now young men, with the oldest going to university this fall and the other still in high school. We fish local lakes mainly, with a week long trip to Temagami every summer, primarily focusing on walleye, bass and pike, with the occasional trout/salmon trip and this year we hope to try musky as well.

    Welcome aboard! I have an acquaintance in your neck of the woods(Kingston) from another forum I am on. We've bought and sold each other guns and he's been out here for a few days waterfowling with me in 2016.
    I lived in and around the North Bay-New Liskeard-Timmins area for 30 years and fished Temagami alot though I focused on lake trout, walleye and burbot. Beautiful area!

    I was born and raised in Kingston, now live a short drive NW of the city. Fish many of the back lakes around town, a bit in Quinte and a bit in the big pond too, when conditions allow. I have a buddy in Kingston that I have swapped and bought and sold many guns with as well, and I know he makes a trek out west almost every year, wonder if it is the same guy. On CGN his handle is Doug.
