    Coming from a guy who has owned a few generic brand "action cameras", Ive always thought them to be 90% as good as a gopro for about 20% of the cost. Not sure what use you are after, but you can also buy all the accessories you want on amazon for like $20. Just a thought, but I was amazed at the videos I could get from a $45 camera.

    I want for my daughter. Her snorkel mask has a mount for a gopro. I waited too long and don't think I could order something in time before we leave.

    anything older / not used in a while will probably need new batteries.
    even when new my battery did not last very long

    Ive used a few models of activeon brand. Not sure they still make them. Honestly though I bet more of those brands are literally the same camera as each other just with different brands. Ive never used a gopro brand camera, so maybe Im way off base here, but for sticking cameras on helmets and used in a pool, I was impressed with a $50 camera. Id be nervous using a gopro in some of the situations like that with their price tag.

    I have 3 gopros my son has 2 of-brand ones. The video quality on his is more almost anyone ever needs. And he just cheapys of Wish. Doubt he paid more $20 a piece for em.
