I customized a few Genz Boxes, these are great for mounting sonar head units up to 7" in size, also suitable for mounting underwater cameras or anything similar to provide a portable set up.

These shuttles fit all the common sizes of portable electronics batteries.

I customized a commercially produced Genz Box which will also function as a Power Box, charge phones (or anything else via USB) and power lights, fans etc. using USB or the 12v socket or the 12v posts.

    Each shuttle/power box includes;

    -lighted LED toggle switch(s)
    -dual USB socket
    -12v socket
    -LED strip light w/switch
    -dual binding posts
-fused battery leads with piggy backs
    -transducer arm and stopper

The LED strip light can be used for hole illumination or to charge up glow baits. The piggy back battery terminals allow you to easily attach your sonar power wire to the battery terminals.

Nothing to do but add a battery, attach your gimble bracket and plug in your sonar.

The Genz Box also includes a transducer cup to store the transducer for transport, .

I included a picture (as reference to give buyers an idea of functionality) of the one I did up for myself....it has a few more bells and whistles but gives buyers a image of a completed set up.

    $130

Can ship Canada Post with tracking if required.

The shuttle is universal, so can't see any reason it wouldn't work. Made 10 a few days ago, have 3 left. One of the guys that picked one up mounted an HDS 9 to it, said it worked out great.

If you use it for Lowrance units the shuttle will require weekly updates. Ha! JK.

As usual, nice tidy work BGF.

It's a pretty good idea. Those things are sturdy and take a beating. Also, prices of shuttles today make this a great deal.
