Looking at setting some tip ups for walleye. Anyone have some recommendations on how to rig it? Typical tip up line to 15 pound flouro is what im thinking for line but what should I be using hook wise? Will not be using live bait as it's not legal

I’d try a drop shot with a z man drop shot bait or any drop shot bait

No different than dead-sticking with no livies. Set up is similar, if not the same

Check out the HT Windlass tip ups - great for tip ups were no live bait is allowed.

Even the slightest breeze will have your bait moving .

Having fished 2 of them vs 3 non wind activated - they get more bites every time.

I have since gone to all wind activated tip ups for no live bait presentations.
