2000 SkiDoo Touring Ice Fishing Sled

    Well I hate sell this machine, but, the family car tried to move an approach over into the next county and lost the battle.... Now we need to finance a replacement car because MPI is being MPI by only paying a fraction of what the car is actually worth. :(

    November-December 2015 the motor in this machine was completely rebuilt from top to bottom. New everything. Pistons, rings, main bearings, main seals... EVERYTHING. I even had the main shaft reballanced by the guy in Minnedosa. He's know to be the best out there.

    Every bearing on the carriage that was remotely ify was replaced.

    Carbs were also completely redone.

    The seat was also redone.

    Has electric start and reverse.

    Has both the choke and the primer.

    The track is in good shape. I'd estimate about a bit more than 1 1/4" lugs.

    Basicslly, I don't know what else could be touched up on this sled that hasn't been done. I planned to drive it for a long time. It's fully ready to sit on and drive. In total I've put on less than 70 kms since I did all the work to it. It's safe to say it's hardly even broke in yet.

    Being as I've only put on 70 kms, I can't say much more about the pros and cons of the sled. I haven't had the chance to get to know it all that well yet. I CAN say it rides and handles well.
    I have just under $2000 invested in the rebuild.

    $2000 and she's all yours. You wouldn't be disappointed.

    Unfortunately I'm eyeing a new pop up and a new Lowrance or I'd be all over this.

    I've seen this sled. The same mechanic that did my quad did this sled. Solid machine.

    It was a tough decision to let it go. I put a lot of TLC into this sled. But such is life. You win some you loose some...
