    @HardWaterManiac , owner/operator of "Patches Bait & Tackle" out of Roblin Mb, is offering up for auction the following...

    100 Dozen Live Minnows.

    All proceeds from this sale will be donated to CFF to be used towards costs and operation of the forum.

    (What a guy! Thank You HardWaterManiac!!)

    Bait can be picked up at the convenience of the winning bidder, at 1 dozen, 2 dozen,... up to 15 dozen at a time. The winning bidder can pick up the bait as often as they want until all 50 or 100 dozen is used up.
    The winning bid will be honored for as long as need be.
    Bait can also be delivered within reason...

    These minnows are being sold in blocks of 50 dozen per block.

    Block #1 = 50 Dozen Live Minnows

    Block #2 = 50 Dozen Live Minnows

    Members can bid on 1 or 2 blocks at a time. Just state the block # you're bidding on.

    Bidding starts at $1 per dozen...

    Auction ends 11:59 PM December 18 2015.

    Let the bidding begin!!

    Awesome idea! Thanks @HardWaterManiac! I'd say lets get this ball rolling.... but I'm going to throw a curveball in first.

    I'll start the bidding:

    Block# 1 @ $100

    &

    Block #2 @ $100

    Here's the curveball, if I win these kits at the end of the auction I will donate all the minnows to this years Kidfish derby.
    You can either "try" to outbid me on the Live Minnow Kits. Or you can bid with me to bump up my $100 bid per kit.

    WHEN we are the successful bidders we will donate them to Kidfish under our names, CFF and @HardWaterManic.

    Now just so everyone knows..I am a licensed commercial fisher...and if the winning bid happens to offer theses minnows as a donation to towards the kids derby...I will be issuing a reciet and all legal papers with permits to carry this amount of bait. ..we do it hear for all the kids derbies. ..and any other info. .just p.m ..and I will answer. ..enjoy the bidding

    I just wanna throw this out there... @Inmate made an offer... "you can bid with me to bump up my $100 bid per kit". That means you can offer to 'split the cost of your bid' with him.

    Am I right Inmate?

    Anything for the kids Ernie. @HWM did a great thing by donating the Minnows to CFF, I'm just trying to pay it forward and get those minnows in the hands of some kids at the Kidfish derby.

    well just read that the kids day has been moved to jan..10th...if needed we can let these 2 blocks sell threw and see how it goes..and just in-case someone else is to buy these minnows...( santa ) will load his sleigh up jan.9th and head up to selkirk..so these kids have some minnows to fish with...just got to check in with rudolf ..that is ukranian christmas day and he might hit the sauce the night before...and this date works better for my schedule...

    Seeing as the KidFish Derby has been post phoned to January 10th, should we extend the bidding one more week??

    well its a fund raiser and all proceeds go to a great thing..the kids and this forum..where we all can express our passion for the outdoors and fishing...so hell ya i am in to extend the auction..:thumbsup1:

    Would like to get some feedback on this... Do you guys want to extend the auction for one week? I don't want to break my word and do it without member input. If nobody comments then I guess the auction will be over by midnight.

    So who else besides me forgot about this auction ending on the 25th?!

    With the hustle n bustle of Chrismas, visitors, good food, and fishing... This completly slipped my mind! Lol

    Anyways, Let's see if I got this straight...

    @A_Manitoba_Angler is the high bidder on Block #1 at $200, and Block #2 at $200.

    @gillflare is kicking in $60 towards payment for Block #1.

    I think that is correct guys???

    Thank you @Inmate for opening the bidding.

    I'd bet the winning bidder would be A-Ok if any of you still wanted to kick in a few bucks towards payment... ;)

    And a huge thank you to @HardWaterManiac for donating the live minnows.

    I'm not sure if @A_Manitoba_Angler is planning to donate all or part of the minnows to the KidFish derby. But if you are, here's 1000 high 5s for you!!

    Yes, that's my understanding as well as far as MA uping the bid $100 per block.

    But I might be mistaken, but I think Gillflare is offering to pay ($60) part the $200 for Block #1.

    Correct me if I'm wrong @gillflare
