    Posting for a friend-----

14 foot aluminium , 9.9 1986 4 stroke Yamaha, minkota stern mount electric, deep cycle battery, shorelander trailer.

    $1700 obo

Would make a great little guest boat at the cabin or backcountry tinner or starter boat for a young angler.

Serious inquiries can PM me for Pete's (the seller) cell# The boat is currently located in Sunny St. James Wpg.

Pretty sure Honda made four strokes in the 1980s...was not aware Yamaha did. Cool.

That's a great deal for someone. With the used market the way it is now that won't last long at all...

Gotta let the thread get to 15 pages first before Spoon will be interested in buying.

To be completely blunt and honest, a similar personality well known to some, with initials AB (we call him "Somebody's Mom") strung my buddy along for well over a month with a promise to buy, so he held it for him...my buddy Pete is a helluva nice guy, but any namby pamby bullshit wishy washy stuff and I think I'd punch that person in the face on his behalf. I feel bad for him. He's not real internet savvy and doesn't have time for tire kicking. If he hadn't have taken the ad down it wou;d've been gone in June.

His intent was to move the boat fairly quickly (hence the really good price) and use the cash to build a deck to use this summer...... Somebody's Mom really effed up his plans cuz it's now nearing the end of July....he's not too happy about doing a favor for somebody that screwed him. I figured the goof wasn't serious after the 3rd time he went and looked at (and kept reassuring my buddy it was sold) and made an excuse that he couldn't afford a hitch so he had to wait.....you think if you were actually serious about buying a boat you'd already have a f$#kin hitch on your tow vehicle. .....

At any rate, feel free to spread the word around if someone you know what's a good deal on a solid tinner.

If it’s that Alex, down the rabbit hole we go...
His excuse of not being able to afford a hitch is bullshit. He just didn’t want it blocking the ANTIFA bumper stickers.

Ya, let's not go down the rabbit hole.......

Boat is a solid little unit. It's a good boat, it's just not the boat for him. He grew up on the Great lakes area and is used to running 18ft+ boats. He thought he'd get into remote back lakes fishing but it just didn't end up being something he was gonna do ongoing.

If I had a spot on a lake, for $1700 I would keep it for guests and as a backup boat.
