    I usually just pop a chip into a Lowrance! This video was made using video editing software, the AEM map detail you see in the video is actually the image (png) we send to the printers for making print maps. If you’re wondering why it doesn’t look exactly the same on your Lowrance as what’s in the video, its because the print maps are generated in raster format where one colour fades into the next, whereas we use vector on the Digital maps which means no colour transitions but allows you to zoom in as far as you want without pixelation.

    Gotcha, I thought it was new software for viewing maps on a PC, I have Insight Planner but for some reason it no longer works.

    My Insight Planner quit working on my old PC as well......kept locking up. I uninstalled, thinking I could just re-install, but it asked for the coupon code that came with IG....wouldnt accept my coupon code. So I no longer have Insight Planner.

    All I do is hook up my HDS-12 to a flasher battery and lounge on the couch and browse away. Works great!
