Think my grade 8 grad was on this sucker ..

If I had to choose between 1.5mill or boat on the red.. I think I know what we'd all choose.

Buy it, launch it in Lake of the Woods and compete with the MS Kenora :p

What's there to sight-see on the Red?? "If you look out the left side, you'll see one of the many famous condom trees..." ..."Now, if you'll look out the starboard windows, you'll see some folks fishing for Drum with their garbage bag half full already..." ....."and just a reminder folks, please keep your mouths closed at all times, as a rogue splash up over the gunnels can happen, and if it were to get in your mouth and eyes, you will get diarrhea and pink eye" "another reminder to our passengers, please don't laugh and throw garbage at the catfishermen....they are very sensitive about their sport, and we here on the River Rouge choose to pity them, rather than begrudge them for being "different". The collection plate for the "Get a Life Foundation" will be around shortly, please give generously as it only takes one bad decision in life to become a catfisherman"":smile::smile::smile::tongueclosed:

Hehe, If any of you ever catch me fishing cats I'm in for an earful, arent I :tonguewink:  Ah well, if/when it ever happens again, I'll just borrow someone's alumacraft and wear a belaclava

@Mike B., spoken like a red river rat!!!

Probably hits the river every night for cats, from an old beat up Alumacraft, stashed under a bridge... No one would ever suspect him in an Alumacraft right???

Did Rodger have to beat you with a boat paddle to leave your cat gear at home for Pinawa??? I bet you got a garage full of cat gear, probably two or three secret stink bait concoctions brewing in the back yard???:tongueclosed:

    I'm a closet cat-tard.......it's true!

I find the challenge of patterning them very intriguing and mystifying.

The beauty of the Channel Catfish is matched only by the unabashed glory and splendor of the diversity and complexity of the pristine shores of the Red River.

. The sounds of "get the net!" spoken in 17 languages as a perfect specimen of any size and/or species that is fit for dinner succumbs to the elite Red River Angler's prowess with a deadsticked pickerel rig......the glint of sunlight sparkling off brown, human feces-scented foam......the sounds of Pelicans gurgling and choking in their final gasps of life on 20lb mono......the sights and scents of dozens of novice boaters and their 2-stroke and BO filling the air with "any nibbles?!" ......it is truly magical.

Even if it wasn't the only fishery in the Province, you couldn't keep me away!

I can see this becoming "Mikes Monthly Adventures" on the last page of an in-fisherman magazine.
"Stay tuned Next month Mike visits dip netters at your local power dam"

The Smallmouth in my avatar are only there to serve the purpose of warning everyone of these invasive pests!

Catfish--they're here, they're queer, and when smoked, go good with beer!
