Decided again to this unit, as it just isn’t getting used enough.

Perfect handheld for a fisherman: it floats and is waterproof! Lol.

Screen is perfect (minor scratches to plastic screen protector which you can replace, but they are so minor you won’t even notice them with the unit running).

Comes preloaded with Ibycus Topo Canada, which is IMO the best topo maps available for Canada.

These retail for $249.99 + Tax at GPSCity.ca. Buy mine for $180....and I’ll throw in an OEM cradle and mount with RAM mount adapter.

I have the same unit. It has been solid for me.

They are great units. We have a half dozen of them at work, not a single issue for the past 5 years despite rough treatment. The only reason I am selling this one (my personal)is because I have another garmin handheld (Rhino). I bought that one mainly for hunting....the 78 is a better unit for fishing IMO, but I can’t justify having one unit sitting around unused most of the year. Someone can put it to good use I’m sure!

I'll take cradle and ram mount if you wanna part with it!!!

I upgraded to this floating model last winter as my etrex 30 is now the only structure to fish on lake winnipegs south basin...... it floats and works great!!!
