If it's on Kijiji or someplace else then you might want to post a link to that. The group that you have the ad with is a private group.

Tried the link and had to sign up. Apparently it takes a while to get approved.

semi-related, but the wife and I are getting so close (so close!) to paying off our mortgage, and starting to think about retirement properties (will be so nice to pick something out and begin paying for it while still working...) in MB/NW Ont. I think Pinawa is still the leading choice, but we're doing lots of looking anyhow. Should be mortgage free within the next 10 years. Unbelievably excited to think about this kinda stuff....

There is so much to like about Pinawa: great golf course, fantastic xcountry ski trails, no waterfront properties but are able to lease a dock (I think) and also a community that cares!

Now that you remind me, I am going to sneak a peak...was recently saying to my wife that owning 2 properties (homes) within 70 k of each other does not make much sense.

Wow , we were looking in Pinawa area, but that was one of my main things was to get a slip if we moved there.

You may get one with the place you buy. Not sure how it works there.

Pinawa is a beauty little town.

No comparison to NW Ontario though, imo. River fishing can become tiresome to me, but some folks love the river. Personally, I'd be a bit bored/frustrated of that river within a week.....been there, done that.

    Condolences Little Spoon.

Lost a family cabin in the deep bush of NW Ontario many yrs ago. Still sad to me.
