Good morning, signed up yesterday to see what goes on over here. I split my time living in Central Alberta and Central BC. I used to ice fish on Sylvan every winter, but since theres no retention of fish that I consider table fare anymore I only bought BC tidal and nontidal licenses this year. Kinda caught the saltwater bug, so been gearing up since my last trip. Anyhoo looking forward to some good chat, tips and stories on here! Cheers[IMG]

welcome here -- I'm currently in Olds. Spend a fair bit of time up at Sylvan, Gull and Pine. We're fully CnR fishers, so the retention doesn't mean anything. My only issue is not enough trophies in those lakes! I'm hoping to get over to Newell, south of Brooks to go after some of the bigger walleye in that pond!

Growing up, I noticed that people around me either had high paying jobs, low paying jobs or no job... so I made a choice! Not for lack of courage or great risk on my part though! Lol hopefully I don’t eff it up lol

Welcome aboard. I can relate to the big water type fishing but the coast is a bit far to be towing my boat to on a regular basis so it's lakers on Cold Lake or northern Sask lakes for me. Planning a trip to Shuswap for this spring though if the stars align.

Don't mind him, he's just gonna tell you what prop your boat should have on it. (accurately)

Welcome aboard. Good to have some saltwater characters and posts here on the prairies.
