Need a better sleigh, mines not deep enough or wide enough frankly.

One of you hoarders probably has 3 laying around, so i figured i should throw it up here.

They are sweet but overkill for my needs. The price is steep, but probably worth it looking at the specs.

I want something bigger than a pelican or equinox with the 6” sidewalls but smaller than that tank listed above.

Call Kamarus garage in beausejour, he has Koenders sleighs... I’ve been thoroughly impressed with mine, especially after the complete dead stop crossing the tracks at Athapap and it stayed intact!!!

I think that crossing is why @Inmate is looking for a new sleigh, lol.

This was on bookface. Not sure it's still available.

I will second what Patty said about Koenders. Mine has been running for about 7 years with zero issues (Hunter model). A tad on the heavy side would be the only complaint.

However, I would recommend against the Koenders sleighs that are closed in (Trapper model). They are made from a different plastic material and I have seen a lot that have cracked and broken in extreme temps after a few years use. They are brittle if that makes sense.

I would also take a look at the Otter sleighs in their bigger sizes. They are well made and seem to stand up well. I have friends who have been running them for years with no issues.

The best sled I have had was the yellow equinox fibreglass unit - Big, easy to pull, and tough. Their Big Brute was pretty good too, but a tad harder to pull. They're big. The Brute can haul 2 of everything ice fishing related, I even hauled skidoos back in it (one ski hanging over)
You can get some sweet deals from some of the northern stores - I know my buddy in GR has a big selection, catering to the commercial guys
Just make sure you can get a good cover for it - should be mandatory!

Here is the yellow big boggan - in Thompson

they are $$$ but nice sleighs, used to put 2 45 gallon barrels of fuel in them and pull em through the bush behind the bravos to the drills lol
