Some a** clown stole my kayak last night from a garage in westdale (charleswood). They took the kayak but left the seat behind.

It's a blue Native Ultimate 12 with no seat. They also took my Carlisle fiberglass paddle.

If anyone sees this kayak or has any information, shoot me a PM. Any help is appreciated.

Well, of all the dumb luck. After work today, I got to thinking. Kayak's are big and probably difficult to hide. I decided that it would be worth my while to patrol the neighborhood. In the field behind my place I spotted a blue spot among the grass. Low and behold my kayak and paddle.

I'm not sure if my posting this everywhere under the sun brought this back to me, but, in case it did, thanks to everyone who helped spread the word.

Anyone watch the TV show The Americans? Bet they could find the bastard. Glad to hear you got it back.

I am looking at buying a house in Brandon and wanted to buy one that has a garage for my boat so I don't have to haul all my shit out every trip, but stories like this make me think nothing is safe even under lock and key in a garage.

Have the truck backed in front of garage door where boat is , hitch lined up with tongue , stuff all loaded in boat, nothing easier than that for a speedy start in the morning , just hook up trailer and away we go.. Same thing when you return, beautiful with a garage

Well, locks only work of they are locked. The whole thing seems a little fishy to me. The garage it was taken from is a company owned garage on the property that my wife and I live at and manage. Only a handful of people have keys and almost nobody goes in there. 2 Days prior, I was in there and everything was locked up. 1 day prior 2 company employees were on the property. Next morning, overhead door (which can only be unlocked from the inside) was wide open and my kayak was missing. There was no forced entry here. Somebody unlocked the door from the inside. Like I said. It seems fishy.

Needless to say, I have a big a** chain around it now.
