    My brother in law Dan King has been tiling for over 40 years and is the best in the business. A backsplash is a really small job for him but you can see if he can fit you in. He's a craftmsn. Call 12042913715

    Never a bad idea to hire a professional, but a backsplash is a pretty good DIY project. The tools necessary for the job are pretty inexpensive. I've done 4 now....tools paid for themselves, and more, after the first backsplash.

    Subway tiles never seem to go out of style, if you're thinking of resale down the road.

    @Mike B. the tiles will be 3x6 subway tiles. It is not that I don't think I couldn't do it, it is time. Be nice to have someone lined up to have it done as soon as the kitchen counters are done

    I hear ya. Had my kitchen reno drywalled for the same reason---time.
