For you guys who want GPS and AEM maps on the ice!

Lowrance HDS 5 Gen 2 with the Lowrance PPI-18I Ice kit (and the HDS 5 adaptor). Works perfect, in great shape, only reason I'm selling is I'll be using my HDS 7 on the ice this year.

Here is a link to the ice kit and adaptor for anyone interested:

I do have an HST-WSBL transducer and power cable to convert this to use on your boat as well that I'd be willing to negotiate on.

Good package that serves double duty through both seasons. PM me if you're interested!

    (Will put up pics tonight)

Absolutely I do! But I'm shooting for an HDS 7 Gen2 touch.

Worked great. I'll readily admit I don't go out in -30 temps a whole lot, but I was out in some pretty frigid days last year and I had no issues at all.

I've been using Lowrance on the ice for three years. GPS and the opportunity to run Lowrance exclusive Anglers Edge Mapping and your regular navionics is a tool that WILL help you find fish.

GPS works great. Once you start using an ice unit with GPS, you won't go back to using one without it.

If you have a map card (AEM, or Navionics) it takes so much of the guess work out of drilling holes. I fished an AEM mapped lake last winter and dropped all the waypoints on the map before I left home of where I wanted to drill holes. Got to the lake, drilled on the waypoints which put me exactly on the points, and humps that I wanted to be on without drilling a pile of holes to find the structure you're looking for.

I'm getting slightly off topic here, but the ability to incorporate mapping and GPS is going to change the ice fishing game. Don't get me wrong, traditional flashers are still awesome and will always have a place, but if you have the option of using GPS and mapping out there, why wouldn't you?

I have the Navionics on my phone that I find useful .
What are the costs of cards for AEM and Navionics for this unit?

Dang I wanted it bad but I've been spending money like crazy lately. I was hoping you would still have it in a few weeks but I knew you wouldn't. It was a great deal!
