    Cabela's is clearing out a Point-1 for $200. Regular price is $300.
Lots of random Lowrance and Humminbird accessories on clearance as well.

What exactly does it do? I looked and from what I can tell it’s a gps antenna? Does it somehow provide improved performance to your gps/navionics system built into your graph?

Believe the Point 1 does exactly what the Humminbird Heading Sensor puck (which I have) does. They also contain a compass/heading device that always displays the boat position icon with the bow pointing in the correct direction, most helpful when stationary where the gps can not determine direction of travel, or say when drifting in current sideways, always shows which way your bow is pointing. Believe the GPS receiver is also more accurate and quicker as well.

Yes the point one is much more accurate you don’t get that spinning
Icon it stays in the position your bow is at. From what I remember it’s 10 times faster than the head unit gps

    Big difference

Big shout out to @Cheebers! After reading my post about the Point 1 deal at Cabelas he posted, being in store only he offered to pick the unit up in store and send it to me so I took him up on his offer and the unit is now on it’s way to me. These are the kind of great folks on this site! Thanks Cheebers, hopefully I can return the favour one day!

    :thumbsup1:

You were able to find one in Winnipeg? I looked and limited stock only in other provinces and zip here. I was a bit slow on this one.
