Merc Black max aluminium prop, 13.75x15p
Gently used, think I used it for 2-3 days tops, off my old boat, then rode as a spare... uses Flo-torq or flo-torq II hub...

Patty I’m at Moak and I’ll be home Friday. I’m looking for the prop that is good on rough water. Should of had it yesterday. Lol

It might be okay on your rig in rough water, but I would probably lean towards a 4 blade to be honest for rough water... this prop will work in rough water, especially if it’s a pitch or two less than what your running now... less pitch will let you run the lower unit lower in the water while maintaining RPM and lower you go the less slip...

I'm completely in the dark when it comes to this so here goes...

Would this work for my 1996 65 HP Evenrude?

Mine has hit a few rocks and now is beat up quite a bit. It still pushes the boat at 28 MPH on a good day but I used to easily get 32. So thinking it's time to replace the prop. If you think this would work I'd take it.

I am currently running a 17p on my 75hp, this will give me what, more bottom end? I am having a problem trimming the motor properly in rough water.

Yes, it’ll bring your RPM up and help holeshot to some extent... in rough water it should make it more responsive to throttle and trim changes... I ran this on my 75 mariner before going the 4 blade route... it’s not the ideal rough water prop IMO but would serve the purpose if needed...

Doesn't have a hub kit though so I would need that if I wanted to try it and if you let me? ;)
