    I bought two cases from Spud (Northern Lites) yesterday in The Pas. $85 for regs and $95 for jumbos so $145 is a considerable mark up.

    Not necessary Gord. If they aren’t freezer burned then they may be okay. Thaw a tub and see what’s up is the best thing to do. Old minnows also make good chum unless they are freezer burned. Freezer burned minnows float and defeat the purpose for chumming.

    Thaw them and discard the top layer (it will be freezer burned) and see what they look like in the middle of the tub. You might get lucky.
