Selling a microsd /sd version of Nav+ that came with my Lowrance Elite a few years ago. I’m pretty sure it’s Canada and USA (model is NEB-3). It works for sure with lowarance, but I’ve also ready that even these bundled cards work with other brands. I’d be willing to return the money to a bird user if it doesn’t work. Comes with some terrible waypoints even I’m sure.

    Asking $120.

Has the card been activated. If so I hate to say it, it's just not really worth $100. Any old card and $100 will get a new one sent to you by navionics.

It has been activated. I dont quite follow what you are saying, people can trade in an old mapping card and pay $100 to get a new Navionics + card for Canada?

It will cost someone $100 to get that card updated (renew a one year Navionics subscription) online and you can do that with any Navionics card at any time after the updates expire

Why does it need to be updated? I was under the impression that these Navionics maps were based off of government hydrological maps that havent been updated in forever? Or are you referring to updating the Fish'n'Chip, user maps?

Manitoba sees very little ( probably zero but I don’t know for sure) updating but it doesn’t get done for other nor popular areas

Navionics added a ton of lakes to mb/on/SK.
Most are just re generated stuff but you can fish lakes like dryberry or atikwa (really out of the way places with crazy fishing) and still have a map to show fast action routes and some detail on your sled or boat.

I can't recall exactly and pretty sure they didn't do it all at once but the SK one was either last year or the one before as my buddies fish Montreal lake lots in SK and it got added and I remember us bullshitting about it.

Its crazy some of the back country stuff that is mapped in NW Ontario on Navioincs, places your only getting to by plane or sled. Its not Lake Master or AEM quality but its a map.

Sometimes I’m shocked at the random stuff that shows up. Was browsing the Navionics web viewer the other day and noticed Quesnel is mapped.

Interesting John, it doesn't show up on my phone app or my web browser. Maybe because I have the link saved to favourites on my laptop and have never changed it? I have never paid anything to Nav except buying the chip years ago and the initial app fee. I do have the NW Ontario stuff on my phone though.

Quite often the Navionics card that came with the bundle will not work on other Lowrance units, other than with the exact model it was bundled with.

Came up right to Q lake but no contours, then I realized I didn't have contours clicked and was on Nav. Wild!! Even part of Gem and Wayyyy out of the way places like Bee and Eden (been in a few times and its a wicked ride in but a jaunt)

I can only assume this is user added content? The Quesnel data looks pretty complete.

I foolishly never knew this info. I have an older Navionics card for my lowrance, is it a fairly simply process to get it updated? It seems to have an option on the Navionics site to re-write directly to the card without getting a new one. Does this actually work?
Second dumb question, once the card is updated, will it now have all the info and contours that I can see while using the online chart viewer?
