    I was running the gold chip in my old lcx110c and it covered lotw, but I should mention that it wasn't compatible in my hsd10. I guess it's due to an older chip in a newer locator. You're welcome to try them and if they don't work for you I'll take them back, no problem. I'm not sure about the other one but it does say MN-IA - Minnesota/Iowa?

    Hot Maps Gold, North.....is that the same as Hot Maps Canada? Same coverage as the 2xg but with some extras in NW Ont?

    Weird it wouldnt work in an HDS....are you sure there isnt some sort of work-around?

    I had issues with my 2XG Gold card in my Helix 9. Wouldn't work... It wasn't even that old to be honest. I bought it new when I bought my Elite 5 DSI.

    The 2XG is as current as it gets for Navionics in our area....if that doesnt work on every unit, bought within the last 5 years, that's super lame.

    Never had a problem with any of my Lowrance units reading any chip, old or new....the old Canada Hot Maps works great on all of the units in the boat. Think I bought that chip in 2002 or something

    2XG was replaced by Navionics + from what I recall. That's the one I had to buy to work in my Helix. Now I need another one as I added a 2nd Helix 9 in my rig.

    My 2xg wouldn't work in my LCX 25, but worked in my elite, my old 898, an 997, 1197, and a 597.......
