Original black Ice Cube by Eastman for sale

No pics currently, but it's as good as new, aside from tiny pin holes from normal wear and tear.

Has the original awesome full length zip carrying bag (no idea why the other pop-ups havent gone to that style zip bag) and both straps in good condition.

    No rips, no tears.

    Original robust anchors

    Windows aren't cracked.

Zipper is mint and smoother than my other pop-ups

All tie-downs intact and in good shape...everything in good shape

    I have 2 other tents so I just don't need a 3rd.

    $100 firm

I still have mine too. And it still gets used 2 or 3 times every winter. Like you said the zippers, anchors, windows, carry bag...all that is solid, reliable and functional. Something that almost no other tent on the market today can match.

Mine is still 100%, not even a broken pole or cracked window. Quality!! Bought it regular price for $199 probably 12-13 years ago at least.

Same, that's why at even roughly 15 yrs old I went with half price of new, firm. It's as good as new, aside from pin holes.....I've felt no need to sell it because of how mint it all still is. I really don't have a clue why current other popular brands have not used the same zippers and same bag..... overall still the best designed, from zippers, bag and even anchoring straps and anchors. Fabric is thinner, only area I see improvement by other hubs

It's just hanging on the wall tho, that's the only reason I'll sell it.

If nobody takes it, I'll just trade the stupid tent-style bag from the Eskimo for the Ice Cube.

@Gord it's a single hub, fishes 2 comfortably, 3 is kinda squished but doable. 3 holes is the most I put in those single hubs, but if gear all stays outside and one small heater, 3 can be decent enough to work.

This photo isn't mine, but this is the same model tent Gord.

Even though it’s not insulated you will never get cold in this tent with a tank top even below -30. Also a great, lightweight, smaller tent to bring with you when social fishing or tip up fishing when it’s still below zero. Kids can warm up if cold and it keeps your drinks and bait from freezing.

Neil, you're making me wonder why I don't just keep it....all valid points, especially that it's lighter.... hmmm

    ...alright, new price! 800 bucks!

    Just kidding. (about price)

I think what it came down to, for using my Eskimo single hub over this one, is that Eskimo has 4 windows, Ice Cube has 2. Eskimo has thicker or 2-layers of fabric/nylon which is where the weight difference and pin holes come from.

Still have my ice cube, 12-13 years old as well. It gets the nod when deep backcountry snow is the plan. Also gets used as the outhouse when the ladies are out fishing.

I've got that original black cube too. Don't use it that much having a larger insulated Otter but it does owe me anything. Light and good for below zero and windy. They made them so good with great zippers and soft non cracking window. Great side zippered bag and solid anchor. Not as comfortable in the -30C stuff but that's what the Otter is for. Good enough when you have extra company out or a light weight back country trip is happening.

I thought Gorilla made the original cubes before Eastman bought them out?
I still have my first tent as well. It was a gorilla tent I bought for Pro Am back when it was still in the Reenders mall.

Actually the opposite. Eastman made the first ice cubes and that company was bought out/taken over by Gorilla. Mine is the original Eastman cube.

    Sold, back to myself.

    More value to keep it

Thread was worth it for the nostalgia factor.

My first ice fishing experiences were in a ice cube when ever I see one it brings back tons of memories catching saugers on the red and being happier than a pig in shit doing it
