That one is for fishing cover Gord. Owner's version of the VMC Spin-Shot (specifically for dropshotting) is deadly.

Honestly, Owner might be the best hook out there, in a thin gauge wire hook. As sharp as it gets, out of the package. You get what you pay for. Berkley Fusion line up is awesome for bang for the buck, but Owner doesn't get the respect locally they should.

Fusion does make an equivalent cover hook-- http://www.berkley-fishing.com/berkley-terminal-tackle-hooks-berkley-fusion19/berkley-fusion19-heavy-cover-hooks/1372035.html#sz=16&start=7

Once Berkley Fusion comes up with a no-twist dropshot hook, I'm all in...but our guys at Berkley are last to market on many things...that's what happens when you're owned by a big corporate company that makes shoes, clothing, and who knows what else. Just got bought by a company that only wants to focus on tackle and fishing products, so good things are to come! The Underspin is gonna be a surefire seller locally, for guys that want a premium Bass-style underspin (big willow blade on a sturdy dropper and premium swivel). The Underspin will be deadly for Greenbacks, take that to the bank.

5-1 on the top hook vmc spinshot with just a leech vs the jig on the bottom with a leech.

We had the spinshot tied about 24 inches above a jig. Instead of a drop shot weight. So 2 leeches, 1 one on the jig 1 on the spinshot. Out of 20ish walleye , 15 were caught on the spinshot instead of the jig on bottom

When dropshotting I prefer to just lightly nose hook the bait to give it the most action the softer baits seem to be best for dropshotting for me

Not sure if it would stand out like that if it was hooked shorter?

I've used those stand-out hooks, pre-Spin-Shot.....they're ok, at best. imo If you like em, remind me next Lundmania or AEM upgrade to bring em. You can have em Gord. I'll never use them.

Spin-Shots come in a wide gap ewg hook now. Deadly for 4 and 5 inch baits for Smallies.
