    Haha, true! I had to jump on it because there's less of a chance of it being noticed versus getting a reel that looks different from what the wife knows I have...

    Be on the low side for cats, wouldn't be bad for throwing big swimbaits and such though...

    I have a 9 1/2' bronze back rod that I was thinking would balance better with it than the smaller reel I was using. It was ok for dapping on brush piles, but now I think it'll also be well suited for long casts with a float and fly on some stocked lakes next year, too
